eBooks are products that many are trying to master selling. It has taken me to refine a process that helps me to sell my eBooks successfully. I've been online for over 10 years now, and even though some people in my family (who thinks I should have stuck with basketball) has me living sky-high.
I'm not bragging, but selling eBooks is a business that you can keep private. You do not need to have wear suits and go to business meetings, or hire someone to drive you around, or carry a briefcase and etc. If that's what you want to do, then fine - do it. Now I know that kind of lifestyle sounds desirable, but you have to put your work in. Like I said, I've been doing this for over 10 years now, and it's been a LONG, TOUGH road. I do not want to discourage you, but do not expect to make $ 10,000 a month within the next 3 months - like a lot of people will proclaim to you.
If you want to sell eBooks successfully, I suggest you create one from scratch, and learn how to market online. You see selling eBooks is not the only kind of business that you can have online. But no matter the business opportunity that you venture into, you will have to learn good marketing.
Sometimes I hear people say they want to sell MP3 players or cell phones or the latest gaming consoles, but my question to them is: "What is the difference between marketing these kind of products versus marketing an eBook product?" They have no answer for me. They think just because a product is "tangible" that it will sell easily. I'm here to tell you that no matter what you sell, if your marketing strategy is bad, you will not make a lot of sales - and you probably will not be in business for long.
Do not think you can escape this reality. Some people think that different business models require a different marketing plan. If you plan on selling on eBay, do not think you will escape "working hard" by selling on eBay. Even though they get millions of customers coming to their site everyday, guess what? You have to understand how they got those millions of customers in the first place ...

eBay went through the hard part of marketing and people enjoy selling on their. But why can not you do the same with your own website? Imagine how much more money you would be making on your own site versus relying on eBay for buyer traffic. You would be super profitable!
Learn how to market your eBooks successfully and you will be good to go. In fact, become an internet marketing master and learn how to sell anything successfully online. This way you will not be afraid of anything - and afraid of venturing into any kind of business opportunity. Good luck!
